What to Do When You Need to Return an Item?

Glass Genius is a marketplace that has liaisons with different vendors and suppliers. Sometimes the product you buy might not be the perfect fit for you. We understand that at times you might feel the need to return an item. In that case, the return policy will help you figure out the return procedure.

In general, you can return anything purchased on, but there are some exceptions that you should consider while initiating a return.

Custom cut orders are designed just according to the given design specifications. So you cannot cancel the custom orders once the order has proceeded to the fabrication stage. The cancellation option is available at any time before fabrication. Kindly be mindful of that. You can find your order status by contacting our 24/7 active customer support service.

Moreover, the custom cut orders are non-returnable.

Glass Genius has a holistic product guarantee policy. However, please note that the guarantee policy does not apply to custom-cut items that have been measured incorrectly by the buyer.

In any other case, if you are not satisfied with a ready-made item, feel free to return it within 14 days of purchase. You have the option of requesting an exchange or a refund.

Please return the item that arrived damaged or with a manufacturing flaw within 14 days of purchase. Make sure to get in touch with us no later than 24 hours of receiving the shipment if the order was damaged during transportation.

Make sure to open and inspect the packages carefully within 24 hours of delivery. Keep the item in its original packaging if you want to return it. Also, in order to qualify for a refund, retain the packaging in its original condition.

The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping and insurance for returned items. This condition does not apply if the item you received was incorrect or damaged.


Instructions to Return or Exchange Items

For the return to process smoothly, make sure to include the evidence of purchase for the items you intend on returning. The proof of purchase includes your order invoice and RMA authorization email. 

You can return the item back through any courier service of your choice. Ensure, however, that the carrier provides both the tracking number as well as insurance.

We reserve the right to refuse a shipment if it is not properly packaged or the item is damaged due to the negligence of the carrier.

All returns must be shipped within three business days after getting a return authorization.
